Souders Studios has been a very successful commercial photography studio that specializes in food, beverage and people with food products. In these economic times, it’s tough for most businesses to make a go of things, little only artists and photographers. This lecture will discuss Rick’s tips and techniques for surviving in this industry. He’ll discuss his strategies, his thoughts on market directions, his perspective on marketing and self promotion and pitfalls to watch out for. You will be able to learn from a very skilled photographer, businessman and communicator, what it takes to stay alive and reinvent yourself.

Rick Souders has been in all parts of the industry from Student, to Photo Assistant, to In-House Staff Photographer, To Business Manager at an Advertising Agency to running a Successful Photography Studio. His vast experience in the industry makes him an expert in the business of selling photography. Rick has been recognized as the Best Beverage Photography Studio in the World, 3 consecutive times, at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards in Australia.
